Google Trends: Compares Bank vs. Credit Union in Wisconsin

What does Google Trends Do?

A useful tool on the Google search engine that allows you to see how often a keyword or term is searched for. Results are relative, meaning that the tool is best used for comparing keywords and phrases. Google Trends also shows where the searches came from, and how the volume of searches for particular keywords changes over time.

The Google Trends engine analyzes some portion of the total Google searches to approximate how many earches have been done for the terms entered, relative to the total number of Google searches in the time frame. While Google Trends data is updated on a daily basis, Google itself admits that the Trends results “may contain inaccuracies for a number of reasons, including data sampling issues and a variety of approximations that are used to compute results.”
